OSCEOLA — Barbara S. Klotz, 61, of McKinley Highway, died at 3 a.m. Monday in her vacation home in White Cloud, Mich., of natural causes. Survivors include her husband, Donald L.; three sons, Donald L. Jr. of Goshen, William C. of Cassopolis and John G. of Osceola; two sisters, Tommye Nolan of Comstock Park, Mich., and Dorothy Miller of Shirley, Ind.; and a brother, William Thomas of Hundred, W.Va.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Barbara S. Klotz, 61, of McKinley Highway, Osceola, Ind., passed away at 3 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2001, at the family cabin in White Cloud, Mich. Barbara was born on Feb. 24, 1940, in South Bend, Ind., to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Meyer) Stamatopoulos, "Thomas".

 

She married Donald L. Klotz on October 4, 1958 in Delphi, Ind. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband; her three sons, Donald L. (Beth) Klotz Jr. of Goshen, William C. (Sherry) Klotz of Cassopolis, MI, and John G. (Debra) Klotz of Osceola; a brother, William (Henrietta) Thomas of Hundred, West Virginia; two sisters, Tommye (John) Nolan of Comstock Park, Mich., and Dorothy (Charles) "Gordon" Miller of Shirley, Ind.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curtis and Lena Klotz of Osceola, Ind.; and six grandchildren, Nicole, Donny III, Dustin, Michael, John Jr. and Jamie. Mrs. Klotz worked as a bookkeeper and an accountant before retiring and was an avid Bingo player.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2001, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, September 6, 2001. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
