Stanley Klosinski: (Michigan City News Dispatch 4/2/2000)

Stanley E. Klosinski, 79, died at 10:55 p.m. Friday (March 31, 2000) at Michigan City Lifecare Center. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Yadron officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, with American Legion Skwiat Post 451 conducting full military services. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. The St. Joseph Young Men’s Society will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. and American Legion Skwiat Post 451 will conduct a memorial service at 8 a.m., both Monday at the funeral chapel. Mr. Klosinski was born April 24, 1920, in Michigan City, to Xavier and Pauline Layman Klosinski. On Oct. 1, 1949, in Michigan City, he married Lorraine Gallas, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Clem Klosinski; and three sisters, Theresa Gregoreski, Gertrude Semala and Tillie Pawloski. Mr. Klosinski retired after 25 years as a paint sprayer at Dan’s Body Shop in Michigan City. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, a life member of the St. Joseph Young Men’s Society, and a member of American Legion Skwiat Post 451.
