Mrs. Pauline Klosinski: (Michigan City News Dispatch 5/21/1952)
Mrs. Pauline Klosinski, 73, 1801 1/2 Buffalo St., died at her home at 9:20 p.m. yesterday. She had been ill five months. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Church. The Msgr. Julian Doktor will officiate and burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ott Funeral Chapel Thursday afternoon, evening and Friday until the hour of service. Members of the Married Ladies Rosary Society and Mothers of World War II, Unit 157, will meet there at 8 p.m. Thursday for recitation of the rosary. Mrs. Klosinski was born Aug. 18, 1878, at Rolling Prairie, the daughter of Michael and Josephine Layman. She had lived here 53 years. In 1897 at LaPorte, she married Ksawery Klosinski, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters - Mrs. Nick Grzegorzewski, Mrs. Joseph Pawloski and Mrs. Van Semala; two sons - Clem and Stanley, all of this city; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Alex Urban, this city, a half brother and three half-sisters. The deceased was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, the Married Ladies Rosary Society, Royal Neighbors of America and Mothers of World War II, Unit 157.
