Services for Rev. James E. Kline CSC, 92, who died Tuesday in Holy Cross House, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Moreau Seminary, Notre Dame., with burial in Community Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Friday at Moreau Seminary, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.

He was born Feb. 9, 1898 in South Bend. He entered Holy Cross Seminary at the age of 15 and professed his vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Oct. 6, 1920; and was ordained to the priesthood on June 29, 1926. He was a graduate of the University of California with a Ph. D. degree. He taught at Notre Dame from 1934 to 1938; St. Edward’s University, Austin, Texas from 1938 to 1946; and Kings College, Wilkes Barre, Pa. froim 1946 to 1979.
