GROVERTOWN — Helen I. Klinedinst, 93, of 5815 N. County Road 1100 East, Grovertown, Ind., passed away at 5:55 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, in her home after an illness.

Helen was born Feb. 8, 1910, in Hamlet, Ind., to John A. and Martha (Hobbs) Hoffer and lived in the area most of her life. On March 14, 1936, in Warsaw, Ind., she was married to Ora D. Klinedinst who preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodger and five brothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Jerome) Jernas of North Judson, Ind., and Sue (Tim) Awald of Walkerton, Ind.; a son, Weir (Judith) Klinedinst of Hobart, Ind.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EST Monday at the Koontz Lake Missionary Church with Pastor Brian Baughman officiating. Burial will be in the Tyner Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Koontz Lake Missionary Church.
