July 8, 1901 - Dec. 12, 1994 SOUTH BEND - Jane B. Klimek, 93, of Transitional Health Services, formerly of College Street, died at 2:40 p.m. Monday in the nursing home. Mrs. Klimek was born July 8, 1901, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Sept. 7, 1925, in South Bend, as Jane B. Nowicki, she married Frank Klimek. He died in 1971. She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Jackowiak of South Bend; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edmund R. Nowicki of South Bend. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, both of Holy Cross Catholic Church; Apostleship of Prayer of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Wives Council 553 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 357. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
