Frank B. Klimek: (South Bend Tribune 9/2/1971)

Frank B. Klimek, 66, of 1221 N. College St., died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness. He was a former employee of the Drummey Cartage Co. and had been the freight manager of South Bend Freight Line Inc. He was born Jan. 16, 1905 in South Bend. On Sept. 7, 1925, he married Jane Nowicki, who survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Jackowiak; two grandchildren; a brother, Stanley, and five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hosinski, Mrs. Helen Buschatz, Mrs. Joan Aftowski, all of South Bend, Mrs. Eleanor Ulrich of Aurora, Ind., and Mrs. Ann Kutchman of Medway, Ohio. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday  in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rev. William J. Neidhart, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Klimek was the director of Sobieski Federal Savings and Loan Assn. of South Bend, a member of the South Bend Transportation Club, Lodge 58, Moose, and the City Park Board. He was also a member of Santa Marie Council, Knights of Columbus, which will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Rosaries will also be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the funeral home.
