Joseph A. Klemczewski: (South Bend

Joseph A. Klemczewski, 65, of 1019 Parkway, died at 2 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a years illness. He was a retired Studebaker Corp. employee. He came to South Bend 60 years ago from Poland, where he was born on Sept 6, 1899. He is survived by his wife, the former Veronica Wierczorek, whom he married in St. Casimirs Catholic Church on Jan. 20, 1920; three daughters, Mrs. Veronica Chudzicki, Mrs. Evelyn Wilkinson and Mrs. Delores Wierzbicki, all of South Bend; a brother, Anthony, of South Bend; and three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Wachowiak of Vandalia, Mich., and Mrs. Mary Spychalski and Mrs. Agnes Schoen, both of South Bend. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Rev. George Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War I.
