Martha Kleczka

1887 – July 16, 1960

Sister M. Aldrica, CSC, of St Mary’s Convent, Notre Dame, died there Saturday night after a lengthy illness. 

She was the former Martha Kleczka, born in Germany in 1887, daughter of Catherine Gadek and James Kleczka.  She came to the United States in 1905 and entered the Order of Holy Cross.  She professed her final vows in 1911.  During her community life she was on assignment in the Eastern Province.  A niece, Mrs. James Meagher, Webster MA, survives Requiem High Mass was celebrated this morning in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St Mary’s.  Burial was to take place this afternoon in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St Mary’s.
