He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, mother, grandchildren, sister, brother, aunt, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and hundreds of others who had the privilege of knowing him and calling him friend.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish wake service will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 309 S. Taylor Street, South Bend, IN 46601.

Patrick was an exemplary Christian, living his day-to-day life with selflessness and generosity. His devotion to God, his wife and his family shines brightly as a powerful reminder of what he taught us that matters most in life. Our hearts are broken, our grief is overwhelming, and our minds cannot fathom never again seeing his radiant smile or feeling the warmth and security of his loving arms. However, we are not without hope, for as Patrick believed in everlasting life, we too will eventually be reunited with him in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
