Ray Farra Klaer

MISHAWAKA - Ray F. Klaer, 91, of Mishawaka, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007, in her residence. She was born in Slaughters, Kentucky, on November 21, 1915, to Ova and Genoa (Blue) Branson.

 

As Ray Branson, she married Lambert Klaer in Mishawaka on September 2, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband Lambert on September 18, 1975. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Dennis. Mrs. Klaer is survived by a daughter, Martha (David) Locsi of Mishawaka; a son, Paul (Cathie) Klaer of California; five grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Pethick of South Bend, Michael (Rachel) of Goshen, Jennifer Klaer of California, Kristin Locsi and David M. Locsi. both of Mishawaka; and five great-grandchildren. She retired from Dodge Manufacturing in 1981 after 30 years of service. Ray was a member of the Dodge Quarter Century Club and the Woodmen of The World.

 

Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8pm Monday, July 2nd, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Published in the South Bend Tribune on 7/1/2007.
