Dorothy G. Kiska, 89, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. She was born on November 26, 1910 to the late Frank and Pelagia Otolski in South Bend, and had remained a lifelong resident.

 

On April 26, 1932, as Dorothy G. Otolski, she married Clement A. Kiska in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, South Bend. He died on March 1, 1997. Also preceding her in death was a son, Daniel C. Kiska in 1985. She is survived by a son, Paul F. (wife Terry) Kiszka of South Bend; a daughter-in-law, Doris Kiszka of Granger, Ind.; six grandchildren, Mary Beth (husband Matt) Frazier of Douglas, CA; Carolyn (husband Gerald) Murphy of Greendale, WI; Mark (wife Laurel) Kiszka of South Bend; John Kiska of South Bend; Nicholas (wife Amy) Kiszka of Webster, TX; Jennifer Kiska of South Bend; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Daniel Murphy and Kelsey Marie Murphy, both of Greendale, WI.

 

Mrs. Kiska was a member of Holy Cross Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the M.R. Falconettes Nest #200.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, in Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Belinski, C.S.C. officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Polish Roman Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in KANIEWSKI FUNERAL HOME 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church, 1520 Vassar Avenue, South Bend, IN 46628.
