Pauline Kish

MISHAWAKA - Pauline Kish, 97, of Mishawaka, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, while a resident of Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen, Indiana. As a young girl, she made her home with her aunt and uncle, Ida and Chris Seifert. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1928. For several years she worked in the Stenographic Department of the Ball Band.

 

On March 10, 1934, in Mishawaka, she married Carl Kish. He passed away on February 28, 1982. She will be missed by her family. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia (Richard) Barton of Osceola; her grandchildren, Bradley (Dawn) Barton of Northville, MI; Paula Slack of South Bend and Kenneth Barton of Mishawaka; and her great-grandchildren, Brian and Lesley Barton of Northville, MI and Jonathan Slack of South Bend.

 

It was Pauline's request that there would be no visitation or funeral. Her body will be cremated. A family remembrance service will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements. The First United Methodist Church of Mishawaka was very important to her. The Rev. Ron Bowman, as visiting pastor, kept her informed of the church events. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Third Mishawaka, IN 46544.
