Ethel M. Kish (May 10, 1910 - Jan. 7, 2000)

Ethel M. Kish, 89, of the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, in the center.

Mrs. Kish was born on May 10, 1910, in Green Castle, Pa.

On Oct. 29, 1930, in South Bend, as Ethel Maloy, she married Steve J. Kish, who died on Jan. 11, 1964. Ethel was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen Varro and Revena Desits; and by a brother, Ralph Maloy.

She is survived by two brothers-in-law, Steve Varro and Joseph Desits, both of South Bend; two nieces, Sandra L. Farlow of Hudson, Fla., and Revie "Cooky" Stewart of South Bend; and by a great-nephew, Arthur T. Bishop, Jr., of South Bend.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, in the funeral home.
