Ralph Kirkham

June 26, 1911 – December 18, 1978

Ralph Kirkham, 67, of 54887 Moss, died at home at 5:30am Monday after an illness of three years.

He was born on June 26, 1911, in Denham IN, and lived in this area most of his life.  On August 16, 1930, he married Ellen Hansen, who died January 19, 1976.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Jones of South Bend; a son, Leroy of South Bend and a stepson, Claude Grenert of Seminole FL; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Nagel of Chicago an Mrs. Opal Nelson of Arlington IN.  He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Loyal Order of the Eagles and Teamsters Local 364.

Services will be at 10:30am Thursday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S Michigan. Rev. Lay Baker, pastor of the First Brethren Church of South Bend, will officiate.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call form 7 to9pm today and from 2 to 4 an 7 to 9pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
