MISHAWAKA - Darl Ross Kipp Sr., 75, passed away on Thursday, Jan.
7, 2010, in Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, Fla. Darl was
born on June 21, 1934, in Mishawaka, Ind. He was preceded in
death by his father, and his son, Darl R. Kipp Jr. He is survived
by his wife of 56 years, Janet (Rodgers) of Leesburg, Fla.; his
mother, Winifred Kipp of Granger, Ind.; sons, Kenneth (Rebecca)
of Haines City, Fla., and Douglas (Sharon) of Pooler, Ga.; two
grandchildren and one great-grandson; a sister, Myrna Black of
South Bend, Ind.; sister-in-law, Joan Hunt of Leesburg, Fla.;
brothers-in-law, Lamar Rodgers of Sturgis, Mich., and Gerald
Rodgers (Ann) of Dallas, Texas. Darl was a 1952 graduate of
Mishawaka High School. He proudly served 20 years with the U.S.
Army & U.S. Navy and 15 years in the civil service. Plans for
a memorial service are pending. He will be laid to rest at the
National Cemetery at Bushnell, Fla. The family requests that any
memorial gifts be sent to Lake Square Presbyterian Church,
Leesburg, Fla., or to Lakes at Leesburg Resident Association,
Leesburg, Fla.
