Betty J. Kintz, 61, of 54103 Mabel Lane, died at 11:45 AM Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness.  She was a homemaker.  She was born April 11, 1926, in South Bend, where she lived all her life.  In 1955, in South Bend, she married Gerald P. Kintz, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Susan K. Sheets, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; two sons, Robert J. and Michael P., both of South Bend; three grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Weber of South Bend and PatDiedrich of St. Joseph's, and a brother, Fritz (Fred) Cleghorn of Union, South Carolina.  Services will be at 10 AM Monday at McGann Funeral Home, 2313 East Edison Road, where friends May call from 4 to 8 PM today and where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley  Memorial Park, Granger.  Mrs. Kintz was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
