Services for Mrs. Bernadine Kintz, 80, of 18473 Edison, who died at home
Wednesday, will be at 10 AM Saturday in Little Flower Catholic Church.
Rev.
William Neidhart C. S. C., pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St.
Joseph's Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 9 PM
Friday at the McGann Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited
at 7 PM. Mrs. Kintz was born on April 30, 1898, in South Bend, where she
lived all her life. On September 6, 1922, in South Bend she married
Gerald
P. [Mike] Kintz who died on November 18, 1976. A homemaker, she is
survived
by three daughters, Mrs. Betty Barber and Mrs. Joyce Mean, both of South
Bend, and Mrs. Mary Catherine Stopczynski of Granger; three sons, Jack and
Jerry, both of South Bend, and Thomas of Valinda, California; 29
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Steffel of
Lake Wales, Florida and Mrs. Marie Mossholder of Sturgis, Michigan, and four
brothers, Roy and Arthur Riffel, both of South Bend, Charles Riffel of
Saginaw, Michigan, and Robert Riffel of Detroit. Mrs. Kintz was a member
of
the church and the Edison Road Club.
