Carrie Lucille Kingsafer

Mrs. Carrie (Betty) Kingsafer, 69, of 19666 Palisade, died at 7:15 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

 

Born on Oct. 24, 1906, in St. Joseph County, she had lived in this area her lifetime.

 

On Feb. 4, 1926, in South Bend, she married Ernest L. Kingsafer, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert L. of South Bend, and two granddaughters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Community Congretational Church of which she was a member. Rev. Paul L. Harris, pastor, will officiate.

 

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer North Chapel, 53803 U.S. 31 N., and after 10 a.m. Saturday in the church.

 

She was a member of the Clay Twp. Republican Club.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Congregational Church.
