Clara May King, 64, of Gernhart
Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 7:03 a.m. on Wednesday,
Jan. 23, in Hospice House, South Bend, Ind. Clara was born on
Dec. 29, 1937, in Mishawaka, to the late Russell and Mary Audra (Lynch)
Cox.
On Nov. 7, 1959, Clara married A.J. King,
who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Gloria Claeys
of Mishawaka; three stepdaughters, Sandy, Peggy and Carmen; a
grandson, Adam Claeys of Mishawaka; four step- grandchildren and
14 step-great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Ralph (Jenni) Cox
of Mishawaka. Until her recent illness, Clara had been an officer
in the UniRoyal Retirees Club which meets at the Batttell Center
in Mishawaka.
Friends may visit with Clara's family from 2
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 25, in the Thallemer-Goethals
Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday,
Jan. 26, in the funeral home, with Rev. David Rowe officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial
contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
