Services for Brother Fintan Kindilien CSC, 89, who died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dujarie House, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Chapel at Holy Cross Brothers Center and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Center. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Center, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Brother Kindilien was born Dec. 6, 1897 in South Norwalk, Conn. He became a novice Aug. 15, 1940 and professed his vows in the Congregation of the Holy Cross on Aug. 16, 1941. He served on the staff at St. Joseph Novitiate Farm, Rolling Prairie, for a year before going to Ave Maria Press in 1942, where he served as a press operator until 1970. He is survived by two nephews, Owen and Carlin Kindilien, both of Connecticut.
