Brother Ives Kilroy CSC, 81, died at 5 a.m. today in Dujarie House at the University of Notre Dame after an illness. He was born Sept. 8, 1906 in Savannah, Ga. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. W. C. Thorpe, and a brother Harry, both of Savannah. He became a novice Feb. 1, 1940 and professed his vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Feb. 2, 1941. He served at the bookstore, Ave Maria Press, the post office and Columbia Hall, all at Notre Dame. He also was on the staff of LaMans Academy, Rolling Prairie from 1969 to 1986.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Chapel at the Holy Cross Brothers Center, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Center. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the Brothers Center, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.
