Thomas M. Killelea, 74, of South Bend, Ind., died at 2:40 p.m. Monday, May 11, 1998. A lifelong resident of the Michiana area, he was born Oct. 24, 1923, to Patrick and Margaret Killelea.

Tom, a World War II veteran, had retired from Transpo after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Lois E. Killelea and their six children, Thomas Killelea of Granger, Ind., Margaret Killelea, Patrick Killelea, Michael Killelea, Lois M. Killelea and Joseph Killelea, all of South Bend. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. With Tom's love of animals the family asks that any Memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society in his name.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hickey Funeral Home, Cleveland Road, on Wednesday, May 13th, where a wake service will be at 3 p.m. Services will be Thursday at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
