Marie E. Kiley, 86, of Granger, Ind.,
passed away Wednesday evening, Feb. 27, in the Saint Joseph
Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 7, 1915, in
Philadelphia, Pa., to the late William and Mary (Hughes) Shellem.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Reese
and Mildred Hamilton; and a brother, William Shellem. On
June 26, 1937, in Elkton, Md., she married William V. Kiley, who
died Aug. 10, 1985. Surviving to cherish her memory are her
daughters, Diane (Robert) Waltz of Granger, Ind., Carol
(Robert) Lairsey of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; sons, Robert
(Sue) Kiley of Shippensburg, Pa., William (Eileen) Kiley of
Wilmington, Del.; nine grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Howard Shellem of Malvern,
Pa. Mrs. Kiley was a homemaker and moved to this area in 1995
from Barnegat, N.J.
Private family service will be held. There
will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Home
Management Resources, 1201 Northside Blvd., South Bend, IN 46615.
The Welsheimer Funeral Home assisted the family with
arrangements.
