MRS. CHARLES E. KIEFER
Mrs. Charles E. Kiefer, one of the well known residents of the Woodlawn community, died at her home one and one half mile east of that place Monday afternoon after an illness of several hours.
Mrs. Kiefer's maiden name was Rosa Moore. She was the daughter of Philip and Mary Moore and was born March 3, 1866, near Wabash, Ind. On April 8, 1888, she was united in marriage with Charles E. Kiefer, who survives. Other surviving relatives are four sons, LeRoy Kiefer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Floyd Kiefer of Mishawaka and Claude and Oliver Kiefer of Danville, Virginia; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Long, of Benton Harbor, Mich.; one brother Samuel Moore of Wabash; three half brothers, Jacob Moore of Bunker Hill, Edward Baker of Wabash and John Kneiley of Roane; four half sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kneiley of North Manchester, Mrs. Arthur Hobson of Logansport, Mrs. Anna Palmer of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. George Kiefer of Bremen.
Funeral services will be held this
afternoon at two oclock at the Lutheran church at Woodland.
Rev. A. Schlifke, pastor of the church, will officiate in the
services Burial will be in the Woodland cemetery
