27, 1926 - Nov. 21, 2009SOUTH BEND - Dorothy M. Ketner, 83, of South Bend, IN, died at 10:36 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, in Rivercrest Specialty Hospital, Mishawaka, IN. She was born on April 27, 1926, to the late Walter B. and Ida (Caldwell) Robinson in Port Deposit, MD, and had lived in South Bend since 2004, coming from Valparaiso, IN. Along with her parents, three brothers also preceded her in death. On May 4, 1957, as Dorothy M. Robinson, she married William S. Ketner in Aberdeen, MD. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William S. Ketner of South Bend, IN; two daughters, Elaine (Thomas) Browne of Knox, IN; Lynne (Roger) Shei of Hanna, IN; one son, Brian (Cindy) Ketner of Naperville, IL; six grandchildren, Christina Ketner, Heather Pederson, Emily (Dustin) Waters, Amanda Browne, Eddie and Erin Shei; one sister, Elizabeth Todd of Easton, MD; and one brother, Alfred (Betty Lou) Robinson of Woodstock, VA. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (South Bend Time) Saturday, November 28, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where friends may gather one hour prior to services.
