Dorothy A. Kesner

November 8, 1921 - October 4, 1986

Dorothy A. Kesner, 64, of 801 Hubbard St., Mishawaka, died at 2pm Saturday in Hackley Hospital, Muskegon MI, after an apparent heart attach.  She retired from B & B Frozen Foods in 1983 after working there for 15 years.

She was born on November 8, 1921, in South Bend and had lived in this area her entire life.  On March 19, 1945, in Michigan City, as Dorothy Konopinski, she married Russell Kesner, who died on September 5, 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda K. Kesner of Mishawaka; a son, Ronald I. Hygema of Osceola; two grandchildren; a sister, Irene Olivier of South Bend and two brothers, Bert Konopinski of Lakeville and Danny Konopinski of Syracuse.  Services will be at 11am Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 435.

Funeral Notes

A White Shrine of Jerusalem memorial service will be held at 7pm today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, for Dorothy A. Kesner, 64, of 801 Hubbard St., Mishawaka, who died Saturday in Hackley Hospital, Muskegon MI, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 11am Wednesday at the funeral chapel.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
