Funeral Notes
Kesler - Pallbearers at serves for Dewey O. Kesler, 3319
Northside Blvd., who died Sunday, will be Clyde Stucker, Frank Metzger, Frank
De Freeuw, Donald Gard, Russell Randolph and Charles Lehman. Services will be
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hollis Funeral Home, Rev. William Burgess, pastor of
Gospel Center Church, officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery,
Mishawaka,
Dewey O. Kesler
Dewey O. Kesler, 66, of 3319 Northside Blvd.,
a retired employee of the Torrington Co., died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Memorial
Hospital, he had been ill one year. Ms. Kesler was born in March 8, 1899, in
Rochester, Ind. He came to South Bend 25 years ago from Mentone, On Step 23,
1920, in Mentone, He married Martha Ward, who survives. Also surviving are
three daughters, Sharon and Lorraine both at home, and Mrs. Joseph McFarland of
South Bend; two sons, Robert of California, and Dale of Kinston, N. C.; 10
grandchildren; three brothers, Benjamin of Knox, Ind., John of Bremen and
Herbert of South Bend, and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Correll of Wisconsin, Mrs.
Raymond Willmarth of South Bend, and Mrs. Harvey Gygi of Wisconsin. Friends may
call after 7 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollis Funeral
Home.
