Emre Kertai, 1224 N. Eclipse St.,
died 6 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of four
months. He was born Nov. 4, 1877, in Raba Patona, Gyor
Megye, Hungary, and came to South Bend in 1904 from Hungary.
He was married to Anna Racv <Racz> who survives with
three sons, Ernest, Rudolph, and Emre Jr.; four daughters, Mrs.
Anna Zsedely, Mrs. John Conjalka, Mrs. Erma Baichley
and Mrs. Mary Pajor, all of South Bend; a sister, Mrs.
Julia Littai, in Europe, and 14 grandchildren. The
body was taken to the Nemeth Funeral Home.

KERTAI - The funeral of Emre Kertai,
1244 N. Eclipse St., will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St.
Stephen's Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph P. Horvath, pastor,
officiating. Friends may call in the Nemeth Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Arpasi, Joseph Gulas, Victor Gyorkos,
Joseph Varro, Joseph Szabo and James Kurnyak.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Among the survivors is
a daughter, Mrs. Velma Conjalka, South Bend Indiana.
