Lonzo Kerr
Mr.
Lonzo Kerr, 82, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother
who resided on South Meade Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away
after an extended illness at 4:30 p.m. on Satur day, March 25, in
Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.
Lonzo
was born on
Mr.
Kerr was employed as a plumber and retired from the White
Plumbing Company. He was a member of Greater St. John Missionary
Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board. He was also a
32nd degree Prince Hall Mason.
On
Surviving
family members who will cherish his memory are his wife, Leolia;
a daughter, Lois (Fred) Osborne; four sons, Lonzo (Valerie) Kerr
of Austin, Texas, Raymond Kerr of South Bend, Floyd (Vivian) Kerr
of Youngstown, Ohio, and Lloyd (Maggie) Kerr of Bolingbrook,
Ill.; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Mack and Odessa King,
both of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Nolie (Ora) Kerr of Jackson,
Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Alice Kerr of South Bend; along with a
host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral
services will be held at
Alford's
Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements.
