Boone Vernon Kern, 120 E. Sisth Street, died at St. Joseph Hospital Wednesday morning after an eight week’s illness with pneumonia. Mr. Kern was born in Burks County Ps., 62 years ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mable Slaytor, Fort Madison, Ia.; Clara Bristol, Chicago, and Dorothy Kern of Bourbon. He also leaves a brother and two sisters, Frank J. Kern, this city; Mrs. Mary Watkins, Etna Green, and Mrs. Lissa Garrison, Bourbon.
