LAKEVILLE - George L. Kendall, 74, of Lakeville, passed away at
10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in his home. Mr.
Kendall was born on September 23, 1935, in Niles, MI, and had
lived in Lakeville for the past 40 years. He was the former owner
and operator of Kendall's Plymouth Yamaha and Goshen Honda. He
also formerly worked at Honda of Michiana. Mr. Kendall is
survived by four daughters, Karen (Al) Molnar of Bristol, Lori
(Jeremy Scott) Skoviak of South Bend, Diane (Norman) Northcutt of
South Bend and Mary Mark of Lakeville; 11 grandchildren, Tricia
Nyikos, Tara Rush, Nathan Skoviak, Ann Skoviak, Theresa Northam,
Debra Bradbury, David Kendall, Ashleigh Northcutt, Devan
Northcutt, Elizabeth Northcutt and Kristen Scott; seven
great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Patricia Britton
of South Bend; one sister, Margaret Peterson of California; and
two brothers, Richard Kendall of Lakeville and Lawson Kendall of
Hawaii. One sister, Norma Jean Kenfield, and one brother, Dave
Kendall, both preceded him in death. Funeral services will be
held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in the Palmer
Funeral Home-Lakeville. Rev. David Herbster, pastor of Faith
Christian Chapel, Lakeville, will officiate. Friends may visit
with the family from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday in the Palmer Funeral
