Francis Irene Kemble

Aug. 26, 1919 -- July 29, 2003

                                        

Frances Irene Kemble, 83, residing on Cedar Trail, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1919, in Mishawaka, to the late John and Marie Ganser, and had lived in this area her entire life.

On April 20, 1940, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, she married Charles Kemble, who survives. Mrs. Kemble is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Gerald Hogan of Granger, Ind.; her son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Rita Kemble of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Daniel (Michelle) Hogan of Granger, Denise (Bob) Bower of Granger, Brian (Staci) Kemble of Doylestown, Pa., Darren (Alexandria) Kemble of Mishawaka and Clare (Ryan) Palenchar of Elkhart, Ind.; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace Ganser of Perrine, Fla.; and by a sister-in-law, Carol Kemble of Elkhart.

Mrs. Kemble was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and of the Rosary Society of Queen of Peace. She was a member of the Class of 1937 of Mishawaka High School.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Rev. Richard Hire will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 1, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Osceola, 1109 Lincoln Way West, Osceola, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
