Robert E. Kelley

Robert E. Kelley, 56, of 915 E. Donald, died at 5 p.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital after a four month illness. He was owner of the Robert Kelley Heating and Air Conditioning Co. since 1961. Born on April 18, 1925,  in South Bend, he had lived here all his life. On Sept. 8, 1951 in South Bend, he married Mary Jane Grove, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs of Redlands, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Becky Hoffman of Colorado Springs, Colo, and Miss Vicki Kelley at home; two granddaughters; a brother, Claude of Calif; and a step-brother, Francis Jacobs of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Guising Colonial Chapel, Rev. David Harrold, paster of Faith United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home, where Moose Lodge 58 will hold memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was a past governor of Moose Lodge 58 and  recieved a Moose Lodge Fellowship Degree in 1980. He was a World War II army veteran.
