Sara M. Kellogg

South Bend, Sara M. Kellogg, age 90, of Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse, formerly of Elwood Avenue, died 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Goshen Hospital. She retired from Logan School after 10 years of service and in 1974 as a social worker for St. Joseph County Welfare Department. She was born July 13, 1903, in Marquette, Mich. and lived in South Bend since 1940, coming from Marquette.

On Aug. 30, 1929, in Marquette, as Sara M. June, she married Percy S. Kellogg. He died Nov. 6, 1944. She is survived by three sons, Robert L. and Thomas G., both of South Bend, and Joseph F. of Bloomington, Ind.; four granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. She was a former member of the Missionary Ladies Society of Calvary Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
