GRANGER - Stella B. Kelley, 87, of Bennington Court, died at 8:30 a.m. today in her home of natural causes. She was born Dec. 28, 1906, in Hammond.

On Jan. 4, 1927, in South Bend, as Stella B. McHugh, she married William H. Kelley. He died June 15, 1985. Surviving are four daughters, Rosemary Bressler of Lakewood, Colo., Mary A. Vest of Mishawaka, Barbara Toeppe of Naperville, Ill., and Sharon Winons of Carson City, Iowa; two sons, John and Thomas, both of Granger; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was a member and past president of Altar and Rosary societies of St. Pius X Catholic Church, member of Ladies of Notre Dame, member of Knights of Columbus Wives 3rd and 4th degree, past president of Clay/Harris Women's Society and member of Town & Country Women's Club.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17130 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
