Dec. 11, 1952 - July 19, 1990 SOUTH BEND - Charles B. Keever, 37, of 139 E. Pennsylvania Ave., died about 12:05 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, where he was taken after divers found him Wednesday in Bercado pond. The death was ruled a drowning, said South Bend Police Cpl.Thomas Trenerry, deputy county coroner. Mr. Keever was employed as a cook at Rally’s Hamburgers. He was born Dec. 11, 1952, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Gerschoffer of South Bend. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home.
