SOUTH BEND - Mary Lucille Keen, 88, of South Bend passed
away at 4:45 a.m., Sunday, January 6, 2008, in Regency Place
Nursing Home, South Bend. Mary was born on June 20, 1919 in
Mishawaka, to the late Raymond and Lenora (Wolf) Fisher.
On May 19, 1934 in Mishawaka, she married
Dale J. Keen, Sr., who passed away on November 11, 1961. She is
also preceded in death by two sons, Devon W and Dale J. Keen; two
daughters, Ruth J. Hall and Dolores S. Kulchar; and
one brother, Raymond Fisher Jr. Mary is survived by two
daughters, Dorothy L. Jennings of South Bend, her
children, Richard Jr., Amy Clark, and Michelle Statler;
Elizabeth A. (Thomas) Blasko of Granger, her children John
P. Pollard and Elizabeth D. Curran; one son,
Charles R. Keen of South Bend, his children, Charles, Jr. Mark,
Lisa Hensley, and Kathy Wismer; 27 grandchildren;
39 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She is
also survived by one brother, Richard (Leona) Fisher of South
Bend; half-brother, Phil (Judy) Wilkins of California; and
sister-in-law, Millie Fisher of Norwich, Maine.
Mary was co/owner and operator of Keen
Cleaners. She also was the accountant at Michiana Warehouse for
numerous years. She was a devoted Baptist and lived with God in
her heart.
There will be no services or visitation.
Cremation has taken place. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10076
McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements. Memorial
