SOUTH BEND - Marguerite A. Keen, 60,
of West Washington Street, South Bend, died at 8:52 p.m. on
Sunday, in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Keen was born June 19, 1936,
in Three Oaks, Mich., and lived in this area most of her life.
On Aug. 17, 1957, in Three Oaks, as
Marguerite Benhart, she married Leonard Keen who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Judy Keen of South Bend;
three sons, Steve (Kim) Keen, Donald (Jamie) Keen, both of South
Bend, and John (Kim) Keen, of North Liberty, Ind.; 12
grandchildren; one sister, Margaret King of Portage, Ind.; and
three brothers, John Benhart of South Bend, James Benhart and
Anthony Benhart, both of Three Oaks. Mrs. Keen was preceded in
death by a grandchild, Christian, and by a sister, Marie King
who died in 1996.
Mrs. Keen was a member of Holy Family
Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Holy
Family Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today,
and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home,
where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial
will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three
Oaks.
