Mrs. Edith L. Keefer, 75, resident of West Napier Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:50 p.m. Monday, March 29, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Edith was born on April 19, 1928, in Knoxville, Tenn., to the union of Fred and Florence Acthley. She had lived in South Bend for the past 34 years, coming from Mishawaka, Ind.

In Buchanan, Mich., in June 1969, Edith married Robert D. Keefer. Mrs. Keefer is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Becky Morris of Fort Mars, Fla., and Linda K. Wiley of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Lynn Kinder of South Bend; nine grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Gene Shehan of Knoxville; a brother, Fred Acthley of Connersville, Va.; along with other relatives and friends.

Private services were held for Mrs. Keefer.
