Funeral services for Sister M. Rita CSC, 67, nurse in St. John’s Hospital, Anderson, Ind., who died at 9:35 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, where she was a former supervisor, will be held in the Chapel of Immaculate Conception at St. Mary’s College, at 9 a.m. Monday.

She was born Margaret Kearns, Sept. 24, 1876 in Galway, Ireland. She had also served as supervisor of the Notre Dame infirmary and superior of Our Saviour Hospital in Jacksonsville, Ill. Surviving are a brother, Rev. John J. Kearns, pastor of St. Theodore’s Roman Catholic Church in Chicago; and a sister, Mother M. Lucretia CSC at St. Mary’s College. Friends may call at Holy Cross Convent until the service hour. Her brother will sing the requiem mass and burial will be in the community cemetery.
