MISHAWAKA - Inda Z. Katz, 88, of Fountainview Place, died at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Mrs. Katz was born June 19, 1907, in Indianapolis, and lived in Mishawaka since 1967, coming from University City, Mo.

On April 20, 1931, in Crown Point, Ind., as Inda Z. Wohlseld, she married Marcus Katz. He died Nov. 26, 1980. Surviving are two daughters, Sherril Mirkin of Mishawaka and Joan Spiegelman of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gerald Wohlseld of New Albany, Ind., and Jim Wohlseld of Bedford, Ind.

She was a member of Temple Beth-El and its Sisterhood, where she was a volunteer Braille teacher. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. There is no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth-El.
