SOUTH BEND - Services for Denise (Lane) Katz, 42, of Mandeville, La., formerly of South Bend, who died Oct. 27 in her home after an illness, were Oct. 30 in Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, New Orleans. Burial was in All Saints Mausoleum of Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans.

Mrs. Katz was born Feb. 24, 1953, in South Bend and lived in Louisiana for 20 years. As Denise Lane, she married Larry M. Katz. He survives with a daughter, Mallory Katz of Mandeville; a son, Jeremy of Mandeville; her parents, Frances and James Lane of Niles; a sister, Yvonne Lane of Mishawaka; and two brothers, James A. Lane of Albuquerque, N.M., and Brian R. Lane of Edwardsburg.

She was a graduate of Indiana University and the University of New Orleans.
