Irene Kaminski, 87, of South Bend passed away at 9:20 p.m. on November 2, 2006, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

Irene was born on April 5, 1919, in South Bend. On July 4, 1953, she married Ernie Kaminski in St. Casimir Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2005.

She is survived by her son, Duane Kaminski of South Bend; sisters-in-law, Hildagard Zakrzewski and Delores (Frederick) Borsch; brother-in-law, Clarence Kaminski; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Rosary Club, and Senior Club.

Friends may call on Monday, November 6, 2006, from noon to 1 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
