Services for Clem J. Kaminski, 61, of 2061 Joliet Road, LaPorte, who died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday in St. Josephs Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter Catholic Church, LaPorte. Rev. George M. Vrabely, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday and on Monday until services in the Essling Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. He was born Jan. 31, 1921, in South Bend, and had lived in LaPorte for the past 26 years, coming from South Bend. He was married May 19, 1956 in LaPorte to Sophie (Ginny) Garbowski Rose. She survives with a son, Michael Rose of Palmdale, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Tillie Kaminski of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. William (Hildegarde) Zakrzewski and Mrs. Fred (Dolores) Borsch, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Ernest Kaminski of South Bend and Clarence Kaminski of Granger. He was employed as a millwright at the Bendix Corp. He was a member of the South Bend Chapter of the Disabled Veterans, a member of the American Legion Post of Walkerton and a member of Bendix Local 9 of the United Auto Workers. He was a World War II veteran.
