South Bend - Wilma A. Kalaberer, 59, of Palisades Avenue, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Kalaberer was an administrative assistant for Indiana University South Bend. She was born April 7, 1935, in Niles, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 15, 1957, in South Bend, as Wilma Reynolds, she married Edward Keith Kalaberer. He died Nov. 25, 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Martinez of Weslaco, Texas; a son, Kurt E. of Elkhart; a grandchild; and a sister, Kathy Beeman of Ann Arbor.

She was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today in the church. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call following services in the church. Welcomer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
