Lloyd R. Kahlmorgan

April 16, 1921 - Aug. 11, 2000

Lloyd Robert Kahlmorgan, 79, of South Clearview Place, South Bend, Ind., died at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, in Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 16, 1921, in South Bend, to the late Alford and Eleanor (Mead) Kahlmorgan. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Mr. Kahlmorgan was a lifelong area resident, and was employed by South Bend Window Cleaning for 38 years. In 1984 he became the owner of General Cleaning Services, retiring in 1992. Mr. Kahlmorgan was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post #50.

On March 6, 1943, he married Marie Wilcox, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Mary Louise (Brian E.) Rotruck of South Bend; three sons, Robert (Carol) Kahlmorgan, David Lloyd Kahlmorgan and Wayne Edward (Jeanne) Kahlmorgan, all of South Bend; a grandson, H. Wayne (Wendy) Flora III of Walkerton, Ind.; and two great-granddaughters, Hannah and McKayla Flora, both of Walkerton.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.

The ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
