EDWARD
J. KACZMREK, SR.
Edward j. KACZMREK, Sr., 67 of 609 S. Meade, died at 3 a.m. today
at home after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was
retired from South Bend Toy Co. in 1975 after 46 years
employment. Born on August 12, 1913, in South Bend, he had lived
here all his life. On October 24, 1936, in south bend, he married
Esther SMIGIELSKI, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Mary Ann TAFELSKI of south bend; four sons, Edwin Jr.,
Thomas, Ronald and Dennis all of South Bend; and five
grandchildren.
Services will be t 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church. Rev. Eugene J. KAZMIERCZAK, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and the Harvest House, of which he was a member, will recite the rosary at 2 p.m. Friday.
