Casimer M. Kaczmarczyk

Casimer (Casey)
Kaczmarczyk, 73, South Bend IN, passed away at 11:11am Monday,
November 11, in his residence after a lengthy illness. Mr.
Kaczmarczyk was a teletype repairman for Indiana Bell for 39
years, retiring in 1982. He was also employed as an
electrical supervisor for 3 Guys Plumbing until the time of his
death.
He was born on March
3, 1923, in South Bend. On June 28, 1947, in South Bend, he
married Rose Penkala who survives, along with five daughters,
Rosemary (Michael) Sayer of Kansas City MO, Evelyn Inky
Smead, Miriam Mimi (Thomas) Manley, Anne (Phillip)
Nowak and Lori (Patrick) Nowak, all of South Bend; two sons,
William (Nancy) Kaczmarczyk of Fort Wayne IN and Casimer Duke
Kaczmarczyk Jr of Plano TX; 16 grandchildren; three great
grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Csaszar and Mary Farkas, both
of South Bend and a brother Adam H. Kaczmarczyk of South Bend.
A son, Thomas J.
Kaczmarczyk preceded him in death on April 9, 1972.
Casey was a WW II
Army veteran and a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, where
he served at Sheffield Army Base. He was also a member of
the American Legion Post 50, DFV German Club, and the St Anthony
Sick Benefit Society.
Services will be
at 10am Thursday, November 14, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic
Church. Burial will be in the St Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call
form 2 to 5 and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826
S Kemble Ave., South Bend, where a rosary will be recited at 3pm
by the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society and the St Ann Society.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph County Inc or
the Holy Name Society.
