Rosemarie Jurgonski, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 9, at Regency Place. She was born to the late Leo and Dorothy (DeBelius) Scheilbelhut in South Bend, Ind., on Nov. 13, 1928. She married Alan Patterson in 1952. He passed away in 1973. Rosemarie married Edward Jurgonski on April 3, 1976. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Susan Patterson of Dudley, N.C.; a son, Jeffrey Patterson of Whitehall, Ohio; two brothers, John (Carolyn) Scheilbelhut of Fargo, N.D., and Richard (Jean) Scheilbelhut of Granger, Ind.; a sister, Kathryn (John) Brothers of South Bend; and by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rosemarie worked at the Frances Shop in South Bend and the Notre Dame Registrar's office. She loved to garden, and to be at the lake or the ocean. Rosemarie was a member of the Services Guild and the Corpus Christi Parish Rosary Society. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, June 11, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where there will be a Rosary said at 4:30 p.m. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, in Corpus Christi Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
